Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions are a binding legal agreement between yourself and Veritas Check. By submitting a request for a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC), you acknowledge and agree that you have read and understood these terms and conditions and are bound by them.

  1. Veritas Check cannot release any Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check information without receiving the applicant's signed Application/Informed Consent Form and 100 points of identification. The applicant agrees to their identification document information being checked with the Issuer or Official Record Holder.

  2. Applicant's Obligation

    It is agreed that the applicant will review all information they have provided in their application before submitting, to ensure the information they have provided is accurate and correct. Any incorrect information supplied by the applicant will result in an invalid NCCHC. The applicant understands that if their Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check application has not been correctly lodged after 3 months, upon lodgement, updating of details may be required.

  3. NCCHC

    The applicant understands that Veritas Check cannot expedite the NCCHC process.

  4. Refunds

    Check is not required to provide a refund for:

    • Incorrect forms that are submitted by the applicant
    • Any data entry errors made by the applicant
    • Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check already submitted to the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC)
    • Submissions for checks we are not authorised to process
    • Change of mind after partially or fully completing the application process
    • Selection of the wrong check type and/or reason for check

  5. Privacy

    Veritas Check is committed to respecting applicants' privacy and complies with the Australia Privacy Principles as set out in the Privacy Act 1988. View our Privacy Policy for more information.

  6. Promo Code

    • "Promo Code" means a code that must be entered at checkout on online transactions in order to receive a discount or benefit
    • Each promo code is subject to (a) the specific terms and conditions stated on the promo code offer and (b) these general promo code terms and conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, the former prevails
    • Not redeemable for cash and cannot be used to purchase other products
    • Must be redeemed within the validity period
    • Not redeemable on gift sets, sets or sale items unless expressly stated otherwise
    • Cannot be applied to previously placed orders. No rainchecks
    • Discounts are applied prior to shipping, handling and sales tax charges
    • Promo codes cannot be combined with other offers and can only be redeemed once per customer and one company unless otherwise stated
    • Not transferable or redeemable for cash or credit
    • To apply a promo code, you must enter it at checkout prior to completing the order
    • Ongoing offers are subject to change without notice
