The Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) is the government’s central vetting agency for conducting security clearance assessments for federal, state and territory agencies.

AGSVA pre-screening requirements may require organisations to submit Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Checks (NCCHC) for applicants seeking security clearances using identification documents verified with the issuing authority using the Department of Home Affairs' Document Verification Service (DVS).

With over 15-years experience providing backgrounds checks for a range of industries and uses, Veritas Check maintains a high level of capability to provide specialised services and unique solutions to meet the ever changing and growing needs of the community.

Through the combining of key capabilities including:

  • Approved Gateway Service Provider (GSP) of the DVS
  • Accreditation by the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) to submit Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Checks on behalf of organisations

Veritas Check offers a NCCHC service where the applicant’s primary identification document is matched against DVS records as part of its identity proofing process.

For individuals requiring a DVS verified NCCHC, please visit our apply page.

For organisations requiring multiple NCCHCs, Veritas Check can establish company accounts to enable these organisations to access its cloud-based management portal to facilitate the application and management of NCCHCs. For more information, please visit our DVS for AGSVA page.
